Eunju (Nancy) Lie received a BA from Cornell University with a major in English Literature, and an MS in Global Affairs from New York University. Lie is currently pursuing her PhD in International Relations at Seoul National University. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she wrote financial and business news articles for Reuters in Chicago and Business Insider in New York, as well as worked in content business and media marketing at SK broadband in Seoul. Currently, Lie’s main areas of research include the intersection of artificial intelligence with international politics, as well as data sovereignty and network alliances among state and non-state actors. Lie is also interested in the relations between great and middle powers, rising forms of power, and digital diplomacy.
